The original Whitehouse Hotel was purchased by Mr. Joe Banks in 1998. Mr. Banks had previously come to Thailand from the UK on a golf holiday and had become friends with a group of golfers staying at the Whitehouse. Enjoying golf, the warm climate and the Thai people, Mr. Banks decided to retire in Thailand and completed his move in 1997.

When news broke that the Whitehouse Hotel was for sale, Mr. Banks decided to end his retirement in favour of purchasing the Hotel and beginning a business based on his love of good friends and golf. The next 5 years were both a success and great source of enjoyment for Mr. Banks. During this time various properties adjoining that of the Whitehouse became available and were purchased; by early 2002 a decision was taken to embark on a project that would see the construction of a much bigger and better facility that would include hotel rooms as well as condominiums.

The Whitehouse Hotel, now Whitehouse Condotel has a history of being closely associated with golf and golfers. We also stay on top of all the latest that is happening in the world of golf in Thailand and arrange trips to local courses as well as getaway packages throughout the country. We make it our business to acquire local knowledge so that our guests can simply enjoy their holiday knowing they are getting the best possible value while playing the right courses.
